About Us
My husband and I started our cookie business journey about 11 years ago after my son was born. We were both in school full time for careers in the medical field, my husband an RN and myself a Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist. I was going to school at night and was looking for a creative outlet during the day when I was home with my little guy.
I taught myself through YouTube and some in person classes from other “Cookiers.” Once I felt confident in some of my decorating skills we opened the Cookie Foundry and began selling cookies for custom orders and Holiday sales. We have also started teaching small workshops of cookie decorating classes. These classes are akin to the “paint and sip” night out. They are fun two-hour classes to learn the basics of decorating cookies with royal icing.
I do all my baking and orders in my home kitchen that is certified through the county health department. We one day plan to open a brick-and-mortar store front after we finish tackling building our home.
My husband Ken, our son Jase, our daughter Eleanor, and I currently reside in Columbia Falls Montana, where we recently moved into our new home along the river a couple blocks from where the kids will go to High School.
We take orders and service all the surrounding towns and the Flathead Valley.
